Trogir, Croatia – a Place of Historical Buildings

Trogir, the city filled with history and in the list of World Heritage Sites of UNESCO. The city found by the Greek colonists in 3rd century BC. The city gained its autonomy in the year 1107 after chartered by King Colomon, the Hungarian-Croatian king.

Located in the center of Dalmatia, Trogir is a city that is connected to the other cities inside and outside Croatia with the very well organized network of airlines at service. Split Airport is only 3km away from Trigor and it will not take too much time in order to reach the airport or the city. The visitors may also choose to get in a car or also boat to get to this city. The best time to visit Croatia is always during the late spring or the early autumn where a lot of visitors with the various purposes of visiting are able to do most of activities they want to do under the nice weather as well.

As mentioned before, the city is known as one city protected by UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites and visitors may hope that they will be able to explore every inch of the city that has the history of 2300 years inhabited. Inside of the city, there are approximately 10 churches as well as a lot of buildings those were built in the 13th century. There is Duke’s Place from 13th century and also the big and small palaces of Cipiko from 15th century. These are just the example for a lot of places to be explored in the city.
